​​*SHORT PLAN YEAR*

The 2026 plan year will be a short plan year, running from March 1 through December 31, 2026. We will hold another open enrollment period in late 2026 for the 2027 plan year, which will begin on January 1, 2027.

PharmaLogic is shifting to a January 1 renewal date to better align with the calendar year.

This shift allows us to:


• Align spending account limits with IRS calendar-year requirements
• Bring our open enrollment timing in line with many other employers

If you don’t take action, you will NOT have benefits in 2026! After Open Enrollment closes, you’ll only be able to make changes if you experience a Qualifying Life Event — like getting married, having a baby, or losing other  coverage — as defined by the IRS. You have 30 days to submit your changes after your Qualified Life Event. Before finalizing your elections, don’t forget to enter your Social Security number and the Social Security numbers of any dependents you’re covering.

Be sure to make your elections during the Open Enrollment period which is January 5th - January 20th For 2026, we are having an ACTIVE Open Enrollment. All employees must elect or waive benefits. This is your opportunity to review your benefit options and make any changes- add, drop or update coverage for the 2026 plan year.  It's also a great time to review or add beneficiaries as well. Take a look at our 2026 Benefits Guide for detailed information on each plan.
